Brendan Place has added two more of the countires young talent to his squad this week with the signing of 19 year old full back Shane O’Connell from Shelbourne and 21 year old striker Gordon Watson from Greystones United.
Shane O’Connell was an important part of Shelbourne FC’s Under 20 squad last season receiving the Player of the Year award for his efforts and will be pushing for a full back spot immediately.
Gordon Watson signs from Greystones United where he was a proven goalscorer and will push the more senior strikers in the squad for their place.
